Xavi took his first plane ride this past week to go and celebrate Aunt Rachel's 25th Birthday and to see Seattle. He did awesome! When the plane was ascending he was looking out the window and smiling. Didu was so kind as to get us the 6 back seats of the plane so Xavi had his own seat on both sides. I could not believe how good he did on a 4 hour plane ride. Baby cheetos work wonders on this carb alcoholic.
Seattle is awesome and beautiful and we love getting to go out and visit. We feel like its calling our names because every time we go out there its beautiful and sunny.
Xavi got to visit Pike's Market many times and loved every minute of it! He did so good traveling all around Seattle and being fine with going every place his parents, grandparents, and aunt dragged him too.
We had the pleasure of traveling on a ferry to Widby Island, shpping at an excellent outlet mall, ate at many fine establishments, and had a great time.
It seems like we all gained 10 pounds from all the eating. Why does it seem like all you do on vacation is eat or think about eating?
Aunt Wachel did a great job of showing us around her city and it was fun to be able to celebrate her 25th birthday with her at Ipanema (Brazilian Restaurant) along with her friends.
Well we are home now and Xavi is sick, but getting better and looking forward to his 9 month birthday and really being able to walk, not just thinking he can walk by himself.

It was so fun having Xavi (okay, and the rest of you) come visit! He is a great baby, and I'm pretty sure that he forged a lasting bond in his heart with Auntie Rachel :)
I miss his drooly gums and his big smile, and spaz attacks of destruction. That kid is so close to walking that he can taste it. Lock up anything fragile and bolt down anything climbable.
